{"id":8226,"date":"2019-09-25T00:46:26","date_gmt":"2019-09-25T00:46:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/esportbet.com\/?p=8226"},"modified":"2020-10-05T22:04:11","modified_gmt":"2020-10-06T02:04:11","slug":"lol-worlds-play-in-and-group-stage-fixtures-confirmed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esportbet.com\/lol-worlds-play-in-and-group-stage-fixtures-confirmed\/","title":{"rendered":"LoL Worlds play-in and group stage fixtures confirmed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The group stage and play-in draw for the <a href=\"\/paris-to-host-2019-league-of-legends-world-championships\/\" title=\"2019 LoL Worlds news\">2019 League of Legends World Championship<\/a> concluded on Monday, September 23, revealing the seeding of 12 play-in teams and 12 directly qualified teams into their respective groups. <\/p>\n<p>The 12 qualified teams now have almost three weeks to prepare themselves for the challenges they will face at the Worlds, whereas the 12 teams seeded into play-in groups have one week left to forge a winning strategy.<\/p>\n<div class=\" embed-twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">It is that time of year again <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Worlds2019?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Worlds2019<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/8JpZcbUxV8\">pic.twitter.com\/8JpZcbUxV8<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; lolesports (@lolesports) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/lolesports\/status\/1174735231510691840?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 19, 2019<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/div>\n<p>The play-in teams were grouped as follows:<\/p>\n<p>Group A &#8211; Clutch Gaming (LCS), Unicorns of Love (LCL), MAMMOTH (OPL)<\/p>\n<p>Group B &#8211; Splyce (LEC), Isurus Gaming (LLA), DetonatioN FocusMe (LJL)<\/p>\n<p>Group C &#8211; Hong Kong Attitude (LMS), Lowkey Esports (VCS), MEGA (LST)<\/p>\n<p>Group D &#8211; DAMWON Gaming (LCK), Royal Youth (TCL), Flamengo Esports (CBLOL)<\/p>\n<p>The play-in stage will commence on Wednesday, October 2, with the first round of fixtures featuring a double round-robin format with best-of-one (Bo1) matches. <\/p>\n<p>Round one will conclude three days later, on Saturday, October 5, after which the top two teams from each group advance into round two, set to begin on Monday, October 7. <\/p>\n<p>The eight remaining teams entering round two will play only one match against an opponent from the opposite group, in a best-of-five (Bo5) series.
