Team Falcons have made a significant move by officially signing Danish veteran Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen to their Counter-Strike 2<\/a> roster.<\/p>\n

The 31-year-old joins the team to fill the gap left by the recent benching of Mohammad “BOROS” Malhas.<\/p>\n

Dupreeh’s recent stint with Preasy Esport aimed to secure a spot in the PGL Major Copenhagen<\/a> but ended in disappointment as they failed to qualify, falling short in the Europe RMR with a 1-3 record, suffering losses to Heroic, OG, and Guild Eagles.<\/p>\n

The arrival of Dupreeh marks a permanent replacement for BOROS, who was dropped following the team’s unsuccessful qualification campaign for the Major.<\/p>\n

While Falcons had initially brought in Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev from Natus Vincere on a short-term loan for the BLAST Premier Spring Showdown<\/a>, the deal was not extended beyond March 19.<\/p>\n

Dupreeh’s reunion with former Astralis teammate Emil “Magisk” Reif and coach Danny “zonic” S\u00f8rensen adds depth to Falcons’ line-up.<\/p>\n

The trio enjoyed considerable success together, winning multiple Majors and leaving a lasting impact on the CS:GO scene.<\/p>\n

Falcons are gearing up for ESL Pro League Season 19<\/a>, scheduled from April 23 to May 12.<\/p>\n

Placed in Group B alongside formidable opponents like G2 and Vitality, Falcons’ Danish core will face an early test against their former team, promising an intriguing matchup.<\/p>\n

With the signing of Dupreeh, Falcons aim to bounce back from their Major qualification setback and make a strong impression in upcoming tournaments.<\/p>\n

The partnership extends until 2025, with provisions for mutual termination if performance expectations are not met.<\/p>\n

Having attended all 19 Counter-Strike Majors, Dupreeh brings a wealth of experience to Falcons, although his recent benching by Team Vitality marked a challenging period in his career.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, he remains determined to make an impact with his new team and help them achieve success on the competitive circuit.<\/p>\n
