OG Esports are expected to make some changes to their Dota 2 lineup ahead of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) WEU 2023 Tour 2.

The European squad was left rudderless earlier this year after offlaner Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf left the squad to join Nigma Galaxy. After ex-Virtus.pro player Dmitry “DM” Dorokhin was signed, things picked up for the team; however, following a poor showing on the DPC Winter Tour, the organization missed out on a spot in the 2023 Lima Major.

According to a report from OG’s carry player Artem “Yuragi” Golubiev, as a result of the loss, they are re-evaluating their roster and making needed changes.

“Yes, we’re going to have one change,” he said.

When asked if any players would be replaced, he added: “Yes. You’ll find out.”

Yuragi’s comment has left Dota 2 fans wondering who OG will bring in. Sébastien “Ceb” Debs, former OG offlaner, notably shared a cryptic message on Twitter on February 26 that has led to speculation of a possible return.

Ceb formally retired from competitive Dota 2 in 2021; however, he has since returned to the field on several occasions in different roles. He has mainly filled in as a support and recently started playing with Windranger, using the hero during ESL One Stockholm 2022.

Since OG failed to qualify for the Lima Major 2023, Yuragi has been serving as a substitute carry for HellRaisers in the tournament. Nikita “Daxak” Kuzmin, the team’s previous carry, was dropped before the start of the Major.
