Team Liquid started their 2021 Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) campaign with a 2-0 sweep of Vikin.gg and a 1-2 loss against Team Nigma on Saturday. Their next opponents, High Coast Esports (formerly Chicken Fighters and Ninjas in Pyjamas), enter this match with only a 1-2 loss to OG under their belt.<\/p>\n

If we want to know how these two squads match up, we have to take a look at how Liquid did against Ninjas in Pyjamas from April to November. Out of four meetings, Liquid won only once (2-1) and suffered three defeats, two of which were clean sweeps.<\/p>\n

Liquid have since improved, but we shouldn’t overlook the head-to-head record. High Coast Esports to cover the map line is a long shot, but it’s a good one at a solid price.<\/p>\n

The reigning champions of The International<\/a>, OG, will take on mudgolems on Tuesday having secured a narrow 2-1 victory in their opener against High Coast Esports on Saturday. Mudgolems have also played only one fixture so far and lost 1-2 against Team Secret.<\/p>\n

OG enter this match as massive favourites, which is reasonable since they field one of the strongest rosters in the world. However, this is still one of their first fixtures after a month-long break, and they showed a bit of ring rust in their clash with High Coast.<\/p>\n

Expecting mudgolems to win is a bit too optimistic, even though they stole one map off Team Secret. Regardless, mudgolems to win one map and cover the spread at $1.75 is a bet we are happy to take.<\/p>\n
