DAMWON GAMING vs NONGSHIM REDFORCE BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |

League Of Legends Betting Odds: | DWG $1.05 at GG Bet | RedForce $8.38 at GG Bet |
When: | January 02, 2021 at 17:00 KST |
Watch Live: | YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/kespa) |
This will mark DAMWON Gaming’s second clash with Nongshim RedForce of the tournament after they have already defeated their regional rivals during the group stage. In their previous meeting, RedForce held on well for the first 10 minutes but then struggled to keep up with DWG’s superior macro play in the mid and late-game.
This is a best-of-five (Bo5) series so it is reasonable to expect RedForce to secure at least one map if they continue showing the same form they have en route to the finals. However, the quality gap between these two sides is far too large for us to expect anything less than a clean 3-0 sweep for the reigning League of Legends world champions.
GUILD ESPORTS vs RENAULT VITALITY BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Rocket League Betting Odds: | Guild $2.51 at GG Bet | Vitality $1.48 at GG Bet |
When: | January 2, 2021 at 17:00 CET |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/rocketleague) |
Guild Esports and Renault Vitality will clash on Saturday for the first time since the Rocket League Summit 2: Europe. Both of the previous meetings ended in Vitality’s favour who won with 4-3 and 4-2.
Not only have Vitality defeated Guild twice just under two weeks ago, but the French squad are also 10-4 up in the head-to-head this year. The only concern we have with Vitality is that they have won only one match in their last four outings, however, we have to give them some praise for narrow 3-4 losses against Dignitas and Giants.
This is Vitality’s game to lose and while we expect them to win, Guild never go down without a fight. In their last five meetings with Vitality, Guild lost by more than a goal only once, which is why we are siding with the outsiders to keep this one close.
OXYGEN ESPORTS vs ENDPOINT BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Rocket League Betting Odds: | OXG $1.94 at GG Bet | END $1.78 at GG Bet |
When: | January 2, 2021 at 17:00 CET |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/rocketleague) |
Oxygen Esports will look to keep their wheels spinning as they enter what is billed as one of the tightest fixtures of the day. Oxygen hold onto four wins in their last five outings, and only one loss against Giants Gaming (2-3).
Endpoint, meanwhile are 2-3 in the same stretch with three straight losses against Giants (0-3), Dignitas (2-3) and Guild Esports (2-4). What’s more, Endpoint’s last fixture took place 11 days ago, whereas Oxygen were last active on Wednesday.
Oxygen have also beaten Endpoint in all of their last three meetings, so there is no reason to have them priced as the underdogs. This is an easy choice for us.
TOP BLOKES vs RENAULT VITALITY BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Rocket League Betting Odds: | Top $2.09 at GG Bet | Vitality $1.67 at GG Bet |
When: | January 2, 2021 at 18:00 CET |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/rocketleague) |
In their second fixture of the day, Renault Vitality will clash with Top Blokes for the first time since late August when Top won 4-2. The latest Rocket League betting odds suggest Vitality will get their revenge on Saturday and we can’t argue with that.
Even though Top field the same three players as they did when they crushed Vitality, it’s their poor form and lack of playtime that concerns us. They enter this match off a two-week break and are on top of that on a six-game losing streak.
Something is clearly not clicking in Top Blokes and until we see some improvement, we have to side with Vitality to take the win.
TOP BLOKES vs WOLWES ESPORTS BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
Rocket League Betting Odds: | Top $1.13 at GG Bet | Wolwes $5.17 at GG Bet |
When: | January 2, 2021 at 18:00 CET |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/rocketleague) |
Considering Top Blokes’ struggles, there is a serious potential for an upset win. Wolves Esports might look weaker on paper, , but they’re at least in good form (10-1) which should give them a slight edge in this match.
Just over a week ago, Wolves managed two 3-2 wins against RLCS Season X – Fall: EU Major quarter-finalists FC Barcelona and if those results are any indication, they should do well against the shaky Top Blokes. A lot will have to go right for Wolves to win, but at $5.17, they’re worth a shot.
XI’ANTAICHANGGUI vs TRIUMPHANT SONG GAMING BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
CS:GO Betting Odds: | XTCG $2.21 at GG Bet | TSG $1.61 at GG Bet |
When: | December 31, 2020 at 14:30 CST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/watchfulTV) |
The Hot Pot Masters Championship will kick off with a clash between Xi’anTaiChangGui and Triumphant Song Gaming who will play out their first official match since late November when TSG won 2-1. Triumphant Song Gaming have since attended the Huya DarkHorse League Season 6, and skskins Streamer Pinnacle, which they ended up winning with a near-perfect 5-1 record.
Even though these low-tier Chinese CS:GO are usually very unpredictable, Triumphant Song Gaming seem a bit overpriced at $1.61. Not only have they beaten Xi’anTaiChangGui twice in the last two months, but it’s also important to note that Xi’anTaiChangGui are struggling with roster stability which sees them either forfeit their games or field stand-in players.
WINGS UP vs TRIUMPHANT SONG GAMING BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
CS:GO Betting Odds: | Wings Up $1.49 at GG Bet | TSG $2.48 at GG Bet |
When: | December 31, 2020 at 16:30 CST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/watchfulTV) |
We can’t quite agree with the esports betting odds offered on this match. Although Wings Up may be stronger than Triumphant Song Gaming, there is no reason to have them priced as low as $1.49. The main reason why we have doubts about Wings Up is their lack of playtime since they have only four official matches on record in the last month.
What’s more, Triumphant Song Gaming are very efficient on Wings Up’s two best maps Mirage and Nuke, meaning we could be in for a very close match. At $2.48, TSG are worth a shot to defeat the ring rusty Wings Up.
LYNN VISION vs AFTER BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
CS:GO Betting Odds: | Lynn Vision $1.34 at GG Bet | After $3.02 at GG Bet |
When: | December 31, 2020 at 17:30 CST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/watchfulTV) |
After are a newly formed team that features mostly unknown players except for ex-Triumphant Song Gaming player XueBing “B1NGO” Dai and former Invictus Gaming rifler Zhiwei “0i” Liu. On the other side, we have Lynn Vision, who are the sixth-highest rated team in the region and are currently 122nd in the global CS:GO rankings, so hard to argue with the shorter betting odds.
Although Lynn are not nearly as strong as they were at the start of the year, they still consistently achieve high placements in all tournaments they appear in. Lynn are also in great form and enter this match with a 5-1 record in their last six outings and an 80% win rate record across December.
After usually do well into weaker semi-pro teams, but they also struggle when faced with tougher opponents. They have last met with Lynn Vision at the start of December when Lynn won with 2-0 and we don’t expect a different outcome here.
LET’S QUIT vs AFTER BETTING & MATCH DETAILS |
|
---|---|
CS:GO Betting Odds: | LQ $2.08 at GG Bet | After $1.69 at GG Bet |
When: | December 31, 2020 at 18:30 CST |
Watch Live: | Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/watchfulTV) |
In their second fixture of the day, After will clash with Let’s Quit in what should be a close and exciting bout. Let’s Quit enter this match off a disappointing 0-3 run through the Funspark Rivals Pre-Season, where they lost to Bren Esports, CHECKMATE and Huat Zai.
They have previously also attended the skskins Streamer Pinnacle, where Let’s Quit managed only two wins against Xi’anTaiChangGui and TYLOO Female. Let’s Quit lack of success is not too shocking considering ZhiHai “QKA” Fu is the only pro player on the team which does not even field a proper in-game leader.
Although we don’t believe After are a very good team, they’re arguably much stronger than Let’s Quit who have yet to show any that would convince us they can win a single match this tournament.

OpTIc surely holds the talented names to finish the season in the top three. The side holds the three-time Call of Duty world champion, Brandon “Dashy” Otell and his teammate, Brandon “Dashy” Otell was absolutely phenomenal in 2019. In the upcoming season, they will team up with the 100 Thieves duo Austin “SlasheR” Liddicoat and Kenny “Kenny” Williams. The last member of the team is former Evil Geniuses superstar, Jordan “JKap” Kaplan. On paper, the roster holds the elements of a remarkable team, but in their latest scrims, the side had its fair share of troubles. We believe that the team needs time to find the chemistry that will surely propel them to victory in 2020.
The Mutineers need to shine. The team has invested big in signing a player from the reigning champions, eUnited. All eyes will be on Preston “Prestinni” Sanderson to take charge of the roster and make things happen for Florida this season. Aside from signing the eUnited superstar, Mutineers have also picked up former Gen.G duo Chance “Maux” Moncivaez and Colt “Havok” McLendon. Both Havok and Maux performed brilliantly for their old team and will have to be consistent against the likes of Surge, Empire and the Huntsman. The team surely holds the recipe of success, but Prestinni needs to become a true leader and inspire his side to success in 2020.
We’re predicting the Subliners tp be amongst the most exciting teams in the new season. The team has managed to sign a majority of its members from FaZe. Since Dillon “Attach” Price, Trei “Zer0” Morris and Thomas “ZooMaa” Paparatto will be representing New York in 2020. The trio will play alongside Splyce’s Donovan “Temp” Laroda and Lamar “Accuracy” Abedi. The Subliners surely face a big test of formulating the winning chemistry in the team without egos getting involved. Attach is the youngest player to be crowned the world champion. Meanwhile, Temp made it to the All-Stars team of 2019. The duo will have to play around their strengths and weaknesses to propel the Subliners to victory.
Seattle Surge is one of the few teams to hold a five-man superstar roster for the 2020 season. Damon “Karma” Barlow was clinical in team OpTic’s success last season. Sam “Octane” Larew and Ian “Enable” Wyatt proved to be a dynamic duo for 100 Thieves as they were brutal in delivering aggression and explosiveness. Josiah “Slacked” Berry made phenomenal plays last season and team Luminosity to victory on multiple occasions. Lastly, Bryan “Apathy” Zhelyazkov has won two world championship titles. The side is all set to wreak havoc in the COD League.
The Guerrillas arrive in the 2020 season with a strong and determined roster that is bound to keep the fans on the edge of their seats. Their roster might hold any reigning champions but accommodates a two-time world champion Patrick “ACHES” Price. ACHES will the core element for the season and will surely inspire the team to get his hand on another title. The only big question mark of the team is Ulysses “AquA” Silva as he has been inconsistent for quite some time. But we believe that his form will improve under the guidance of ACHES.
The most fearful team in the league will surely be the Atlanta FaZe. The team holds two reigning champions with Chris “Simp” Lehr and Tyler “aBeZy” Pharri from eUnited. Joining the duo is McArthur “Cellium” Jove who established a solid reputation last season of being one of the most unpredictable players. Michael “MajorManiak” Szymaniak was amongst reliable players for Gen.G in 2019. And lastly, Preston “Priestahh” Greiner completes the team with his aggressive mindset. Atlanta will have eyes set on the trophy.
After signing some of the best players in the league, Dallas Empire is surely on its way to lift the trophy. The most exciting name on the team is James “Clayster” Eubanks who has been playing on the professional level for 10 years and was crowned the world champion last year. He has played the game brilliantly over the years and will surely replicate his success in 2020. The other big name on the team is Ian “Crimsix” Porter he was a dominant force for the OpTic roster in 2019 and will showcase his talents for Empire this season. His fallout with his former team members will surely motivate him to win it all this year.
From our perspective, the most dominant team of the COD League 2020 should be the Huntsman. The side not only holds an extraordinary roster but one of the best coaches as well. The big-name on the team is Seth “Scump” Abne who has over 10 years of experience. In his luxurious career, he has won a world championship, several MVP titles and is also al All-Star. He is alongside his T2P partner, Matthew “FormaL” Piper and the duo will only cause problems for the opposing teams. The reigning world champion, Alec “Arcitys” Sanderson will be aiming to win back to back titles. Dylan “Envoy” Hannon was a phenomenal player for Gen.G with consistent placements. And last addition is Pierce “Gunless” Hillman who has been one of the best players in the league for the past two years. These stars will be headed by coach Hector “H3CZ” Rodriguez and it is highly unlikely that the team will meet its match in the season.

The rules of the Dota 2 WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 will be the usual tournament rules and regulations. The matches will be held in LAN games with each team having five players. The teams are separated into two groups with 4 teams each and the winners of each group will be advancing to the Playoffs.
Many of the best esports betting sites have outright betting markets available on the Dota 2 Bukovel Minor. The latest odds for the Dota 2 Bukovel Minor winner are:
Nigma $1.80
Gambit Esports $5.00
Royal Never Give Up $7.00
Fighting Pandas $11.00
Ninjas in Pajamas $14.00
Team Spirit $26.00
Geek Fam $21.00
Furia $51.00
A total of eight teams will be participating in the Dota 2 WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020. Among them are Gambit Esports, Team Spirit, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Royal Never Give Up, Geek Fam, Nigma, FURIA Esports, and Fighting Pandas. All of the mentioned teams will be split between groups A and B.
Group A will start with Ninjas in Pyjamas facing against Geek Fam while in the second Group A match, Team Spirit will be butting heads with the Royal Never Give Up team. The winners of both matches will face each other a day later while those who lose will be doing the same.
Group A tips and betting predictions: Group A looks significantly weaker than Group B, but we think there is still some good betting opportunities to be found. Royal Never Give Up is paying 2.10 to win the Group, but it’s the slightly longer Ninjas in Pajamas that we are predicting can win this group.
Group B matches will feature Fighting Pandas going up against team Nigma as well as Gambit Esports duking it out with FURIA Esports. The winners of both matches will be facing each other a day later while those who lose the first match will face against each other in the same manner as in Group A.
Group B predictions and betting tips: We reckon there is nothing surer then Group B producing the winner of this Dota 2 Minor, with both Nigma and Gambit eSports featuring. We’re predicting the Pool match between Nigma and Gambit will be a highlight, and could foretell the ultimate winner of the tournament. While the winner of the tournament to come from Group B is only paying $1.25, we think this is making bank and can be a great leg in multibets.
Dota 2 WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 this year has a total prize pool of $300 000 and 660 DPC points which will be split between the eight participating teams. First-place winners will be given a prize of $72000, 140 DPC Points and an invite to the Majors. Here is our G2 Esports v BDS Esports betting predictions with odds courtesy of GG Bet.
Despite their best efforts, G2 Esports ($1.94) finished last season third in Europe, just barely missing out on securing a ticket for the season finals, which was a rather poor result for the most dominant franchise in the history of R6S.
MORE: TOP ESPORTS BETTING SITES
G2 are one of the teams that enter each season with huge expectations on their shoulders, simply due to their rich and successful history in the R6S scene. That being said, G2 are not as strong as they once were and their recent performances fail to inspire much hope they will be able to recapture their glory days anytime soon.
Looking back to 2019, G2 reached their peak when they won the Rainbow Six Invitational in February. Since then, however, G2 were on a steady decline, which culminated in a fifth-eighth place finish at OGA PIT S3 and fifth-sixth place finish at 2020 Six Invitational – European Qualifiers.
Their disastrous performance in both OGA PIT and EU qualifiers means G2’s only chance to participate at Six Invitational rests solely on being invited by the organisers and while there are arguments to be made the reigning champions should receive the invite, their recent results have not made the decision easy.
What exactly caused G2’s fall from grace is anyone’s guess, but we believe it’s fair to say that the departure of Daniel “Goga” Mazorra Romero to Team Vitality in November played a role in it. As Goga’s replacement, G2 signed former NaVi member Pascal “Cryn” Alouane, who is a solid player, but arguably a downgrade from Goga.
Based on their most recent results, it’s hard to see G2 being able to contest top spots in the league as it seems like their era of dominance is well behind them.
BDS Esports ($1.74) have earned themselves a ticket to the top-tier of R6S competition by defeating GiFu eSports in the relegation battle and are now set to return to their former glory.
Leading BDS is no other than Stéphane “Shaiiko” Lebleu who will seek revenge following his highly controversial ban in 2017 when he was accused of cheating which earned him a two-year-long break from the scene.
While we will never get a definitive answer as of whether Shaiiko was really cheating or was he simply too good as claimed by many professional players, one thing is for certain – he is back and he is better than ever.
Shortly after returning to the scene, Shaiiko quickly reminded us all why he is regarded as the best player that ever appeared in the R6S scene and despite the fact he was out of the competition for two years, he has shown there are only a few players in the world, who can match him in raw skill he brings to the table.
Suffice to say, Shaiiko will be the key player for BDS throughout the season and if his performance at European Six Invitational 2020 is anything to go by, BDS are set to leave a mark in S11. There are, however, some concerns whether BDS will be able to adapt to the Pro League quickly enough and while they have an experienced roster, which should make the process much faster, BDS still will need some time to get their wheels spinning.
As far as their clash with G2 is concerned, we firmly believe BDS should not be seen as a favourite. BDS while a very solid team have been unable to consistently find success over G2, which is why it’s reasonable to believe they won’t be able to impress here either.
Another thing worth considering is that BDS will look to avoid using their best strategies for the first part of the season, just so they don’t show too much ahead of the Invitational.
With that in mind, we see G2 vs BDS as a 50/50 match, which from a betting perspective means we have to side with the underdogs.
G2 Esports v BDS Esports prediction: G2 Esports to win, paying 1.94 with GG Bet.
]]>In this betting preview, we will cover the first fixture of the day featuring Natus Vincere and forZe and give our predictions alongside betting odds from ESB’s top-rated betting sites.
Natus Vincere ($1.53) are entering Season 11 as the reigning champions and it’s hard not to be optimistic when talking about what can this European roster achieve this season.
NaVi went from zero to hero last season when they took the R6S scene by storm and won the Pro League Grand Finals. If their performance in 2019 is anything to go by, they will be a force to be reckoned with, however with a new season come changes and new challenges, which will put Luke “Kendrew” Kendrew and his crew to a tough test.
Since NaVi acquired MnM Gaming roster in June, they have made no changes to their team with the sole exception being the departure of their coach Ellis “GiG” Hindle, who got replaced by team’s former analyst Cyril “jahk” Renoud.
Considering they have not made any massive changes, NaVi look to be in a decent position to finish this season strong and we can be sure their goal is nothing less than to finish on top of the pile once more. That being said, don’t expect their road to the summit of R6S to be as smooth as last season, simply because Europe as a region looks to be stronger than ever.
The player to watch in NaVi is no other than Ben “CTZN” McMillan, who has shown in S10 finals that when he’s on top of his game he is practically unstoppable, which is exactly what NaVi will expect to see from him in order to repeat their success in 2020.
CTZN finished the grand finals with 82 kills and +27 KDS, which only goes to show how dominant this 20-year-old prodigy can be, however, just like any player, even he has his flaws. While CTZN can be a force to be reckoned with, he is known for having “slow starts” and until he finds his rhythm, his performance is average at best. That is also our main concern here, considering NaVi’s clash with forZe will be a best-of-one (Bo1) fixture, where CTZN will have no time to heat up.
ForZe ($2.28) earned their spot in the Pro League by taking down PENTA (2-0) in the Relegation and are now set to make waves at the top tier of R6S esports scene.
The all-Russian team seems to have plenty of potential, yet they will have to make peace with the fact they will be playing in the shadow of their compatriots – Empire, who are the number one Russian team in R6S.
Last season forZe finished second overall in Challenger League, second in Russian League Group Stage and second in the Russian League Finals, which leads us to believe the team somehow finds a way to come up short every time. That, however, does not necessarily mean they are a bad team and considering they finished third-fourth at Raleigh Major in August, it goes to show they can compete with the best.
As we see it, forZe have a very bright future ahead, however, reaching for a top spot might be slightly out of reach for them, at least as far as this season is concerned and they are surely well aware of that. That, however means that there are no high expectations put on the team and with the removal of relegations in S11, forZe can at least play without any pressure, which is a massive plus in our eyes.
The difference in quality between NaVi and forZe is massive and we believe that will show this Monday. While there is always a room for an upset win in a Bo1 match, we would not feel comfortable betting against NaVi, especially considering how dominant they were last season.
Navi vs Forze Prediction: NaVi to win, paying 1.53 with GG Bet.
Wednesday, December 25 – 17:00 KST
While off-season moves are fairly common among League of Legends teams, Gen.G ($1.04) took it to a whole another level, signing four new members and keeping ahold of only their star ADC Park “Ruler” Jae-hyuk and support Kim “Life” Jeong-min.
On November 18, Gen.G announced they are parting ways with Kim “Asper” Tae-gi, Lee “Rich” Jae-won, Lee “Kuzan” Seong-hyeok, Song “Fly”Yong-jun, Yoon “SeongHwan” Seong-hwan, Han “Peanut” Wang-ho, Kim “Roach” Kang-hui and Lee “CuVee” Seong-jin.
As their replacements, Gen.G signed Kim “Rascal” Kwang-hee, Kim “Clid” Tae-min, Gwak “Bdd” Bo-seong and Kim “Kellin” Hyeong-gyu in a bid to start fresh following a disastrous performance in LCK last season, when they finished in seventh and sixth place in the LCK spring and summer splits respectively.
All in all, the team looks fairly strong heading into 2020, considering it has the right mix of veterans in Ruler and Bdd and younger players in Rascal and Life, whose growth will play an important role in Gen.G’s success.
Busan Ascension ($7.82) are a new team, which just recently qualified for CK 2020 Spring via promotion battle and will now make their first appearance in the professional South Korean LoL scene.
The team’s roster consists of players that have never before played on a professional level, which raises some questions about the team’s quality. That being said, there is huge potential for growth in this team and a lot of their success will come down to their coaching staff – Choi “Cookie” Byeong-kook and Kim “LongDary” Se-hyun.
Busan Ascension are without a doubt a team to look out for in the 2020 CK season and above, but as far as this match is concerned, we do not see them as a serious threat. Gen.G are superior teams in all aspects of the game, including experience, coaching staff and overall quality. Don’t expect any surprises here.
Gen G vs GC Busan Ascension Prediction: Gen.G to cover the -1.5 handicap, paying $1.35 with GG Bet.
Wednesday, December 25 – 20:00 KST
The 2019 CK Summer champions Team Dynamics ($1.25) will enter 2020 with a painful memory of the last season when they came close to securing a ticket to LCK, but fell short in the LCK Spring Promotion back in September, where they lost to Jin Air Green Wings (0-2) and Hanwha Life (1-3).
To get themselves better prepared for challenges ahead, Team Dynamics brought in Lee “Rich” Jae-won and Lee “Kuzan” Seong-hyeok from Gen.G and signed an 18-year-old rookie Byeon “Citrus” Ji-woong.
The two Gen.G arrivals are in our books very solid additions to Dynamics and while they are by no means one of the elite players, both should do some serious damage in the CK, especially considering they have previously played in LCK.
Besides those three arrivals and departures of some underperforming players, Team Dynamics did not make any massive moves, and to be fair, they do not need to change much as they should once again be one of the strongest teams in CK next season.
Asura ($3.42) were not too active during the transfer window, as they only signed two players – former Griffin and LGD Gaming support Kim “Newt” Jin as well as 18-year-old rookie Bae “Gangboong” Si-hyeon, who does not have any experience playing on a professional level. On the other side, Asura parted ways with Gil “Reaver” Hee-chan, Hwang “Witty” Jae-hong and Kim “Carb” Seong-soo.
Changes were needed in Asura, there is no question about that, but we have some doubts whether the arrival of a rookie player and Newt will make much of an impact on the team. Last season Asura were mediocre at best and while they did end up finishing third in CK Summer Playoffs, they were by no means one of the most consistent teams in CK.
Based on the roster moves, we believe Asura lost more than they gained and the fact that Team Dynamics already bested them twice times last season does not help their cause either.
Team Dynamics should come out ahead here, and while clean sweeps at this stage, especially after roster moves, are a rarity, we are predicting Team Dynamics can deliver and end the series in two maps flat.
Team Dynamics v Asura tips: Team Dynamics to cover the -1.5 handicap, which is paying $1.91 with GG Bet.

Match date: March 14th
Both of these teams are in bad shape at the moment, although Boston Uprising can at least play with its standard roster while Dallas Fuel has recently released one of its core players (xQc) due to repeated behavior issues.
Bovada puts the odds at -450 / +275 or around 1.22 – 3.75 in favor of Boston Uprising, in anticipation of an easy victory for the Boston team.
Best bet: Boston Uprising to win $1.22 with GG Bet
Match date: March 14th
Seoul Dynasty is leading the second stage of the Overwatch League with 6 victories and no defeats. However, this record can be attributed to the lack of difficult matches, as Seoul Dynasty has yet to face the league’s top contenders. And New York Excelsior will be the first of them.
Bovada puts the odds at -175 / +120 or around 1.57 – 2.20 in favor of New York Excelsior, and I believe the New York team is heavily favored to win this match.
Best bet:New York Excelsior to win $1.57 with GG Bet
Match date: March 14th
Whenever I see a decent team playing against Shanghai Dragons, I think to myself “the adventure continues. More free money to be had.”. That’s because Shanghai Dragons hasn’t won a single match yet in the Overwatch League. They finished Stage 1 with a 0W – 10L record and are on a similar trajectory for Stage 2.
Bovada puts the odds at -900 / +450 or around 1.11 – 5.50 in favor of Philadelphia Fusion, as this match has an almost certain outcome.
Best bet: Philadelphia Fusion to win $1.11 with GG Bet
Match date: March 15th
This is a complete mismatch and there is absolutely nothing in the world that could change its outcome apart from New York Excelsior having to abandon due to some major unexpected event.
Best bet: New York Excelsior at GG Bet
Match date: March 15th
Florida Mayhem finished Stage 1 with a single victory and 9 defeats. Stage 2 seems to be going exactly the same way, and there’s almost no chance for them to win against a team that finished Stage 1 with 7 victories and 3 defeats. All things considered, this match should end very quickly with a 4 – 0 result for LA Valiant.
Best bet: Los Angeles Valiant at GG Bet
Match date: March 15th
Los Angeles Gladiators has been this stage’s big surprise, getting 2 unexpected victories so far: one against Los Angeles Valiant (score 4 – 0) and one against London Spitfire (score 3 – 1). It certainly looks like Fissure’s addition to the roster has greatly improved things for this LA team, who is now looking to win its next two matches and climb even higher in the OWL hierarchy.
Best bet: Los Angeles Gladiators at GG Bet
Match date: March 16th
The skill difference between these two teams is immense at the moment, so there’s really no chance for an upset here. Los Angeles Gladiators should win this match with ease and they will likely not drop a single map.
Best bet: Los Angeles Gladiators at GG Bet
Match date: March 16th
This is another match with an almost predetermined outcome, simply because of the skill difference between the teams. London Spitfire won Stage 1 and is looking to repeat that performance in Stage 2, while San Francisco Shock finished Stage 1 in 9th place (3W – 7L) and is clearly nowhere near their opponent in terms of strength.
Best bet: London Spitfire at GG Bet
Match date: March 16th
Based on their recent results, Los Angeles Valiant is no doubt in better shape and should win this dispute. However, taking into account all of these teams’ previous results, including their first direct encounter, I think this match could easily end with a victory for Boston Uprising. Last time they met, the Boston team destroyed the LA one without dropping a single map.
Best bet: Boston Uprising at GG Bet
Match date: March 17th
This is a great rematch between 2 giants and the result is difficult to predict. Based on the teams’ previous performances however, London Spitfire is the slight favorite but only by a little (45-55). No doubt, Seoul Dynasty will want revenge for that humiliating 0 – 4 defeat suffered against Spitfire on February 1st during Stage 1. But they’re still quite likely to lose against them again.
Best bet: London Spitfire at GG Bet
Match date: March 17th
If Houston Outlaws hasn’t lost all of its Stage 1 prowess, it should easily win this match. Because apart from Shanghai Dragons and Dallas Fuel (which is in complete disarray right now), San Francisco Shock lost to all of the other teams they played against.
Let’s not forget that Houston Outlaws finished Stage 1 in 3rd place and even though they struggle against tough opponents, they tend to beat weaker teams in a very convincing way.
Best bet: Houston Outlaws at GG Bet
Match date: March 17th
As I mentioned before, Dallas Fuel is going through some internal turmoil right now and was not a strong team to begin with. Subsequently, an opponent such as Philadelphia Fusion will likely have a field day against them in their current state.
Best bet: Philadelphia Fusion at GG Bet
]]>CLG, TL and TSM will have to secure their 6th place playoff spot. Echo Fox and Cloud9 are in a power struggle for first place whereas Clutch and 100T are jousting over positions in the room just below.
In terms of the NA format for the playoffs, the first two seeds automatically are granted a buy in the first round and proceed to the semifinals. 3rd and 4th place in the regular split will randomly play either the 5th or 6th team, with the winners proceeding randomly against one of the top two teams. The break-point for the 4th place spot essentially guarantees that the team will face a lower caliber team, at least as the regular season has shown us.
SATURDAY TIPS: LCS NA LEAGUE OF LEGENDS
BETTING GUIDE: LEAGUE OF LEGENDS
STREAM GAME: HOW TO WATCH LOL ONLINE
The largest hurdle for CLG for their playoff run and the largest poison dagger to TSM’s sixth place hold. Both teams will face off in the middle of the day and the impact of this match cannot be understated. If CLG wins this match, they will have tied the head to head with TSM, which means should both teams’ records be tied at the end of the day, TSM will not automatically win the spot due to previous bouts with CLG. There will be no shortage of bloodshed here.
On paper, CLG is the lower ranked team and will need to pull off some stops. Banning out Bjergsen’s absolute stomping picks is a must, namely Galio. Picking a favorable matchup for Darshan to style on Hauntzer should be CLG’s next priority. In the game, Reignover will most likely lose to MikeYeung, so Biofrost will have his hands full organizing rotations to mitigate the objective control that TSM will surely have. If Stixxay can pop off through early ganks and good mid game rotations, CLG can hold off TSM’s mid game power spike long enough for the game to scale into a coin flip situation at worst for them.
TSM’s objective should be to crush lane, win game, and preferably quickly. Dispatching Huhi with Bjergsen’s large pool shouldn’t be a problem for the battle hardened team, but the problem lies with Zven and Mithy’s lane. In addition, despite Hauntzer’s stability in the past weeks, Darshan’s split pushing will become a problem if not taken care of immediately. MikeYeung’s jungle focus, a 4-1 Ryze split push composition or a dogpile botlane are all avenues TSM can exploit to earn their early leads.
This game is a tough one to call, with both teams being nearly even in skill and experience. As much as we’re hoping for a TSM CLG tiebreaker, TSM has the upper hand in winning this game simply due to the raw skill they have acquired in the off season.
Best bet: Team SoloMid to win $1.72 with GG Bet
It’s no surprise to anybody that FOX has had some team synergy issues as of late. Dardoch and Huni have stepped off the accelerator while the rest of the team has not had the clearest direction on where to go. 100T on the other hand have played as they always have – standard protect the Cody Sun with lots of teamfight and skirmishing. The question will become whether or not Echo Fox will lose its top seeded spot this weekend or will 100T….fall to a less favorable, yet incredibly good, spot in playoffs.
There are two routes FOX can go – abandoning a burning ship or applying a lot of Gangplank oranges in hopes to heal their wounds. Huni and Dardoch have been underperforming, and Ssumday/Meteos is not an easy team to steamroll. Definitely focusing Fenix for mid to outperform Ryu is a must, but the rest of the focus will be better used botlane at the enemy hypercarry. By setting Cody Sun behind, which is not an easy task, FOX will have stifled one of 100T’s largest winning conditions. Getting Huni ahead simply has not done the trick as of late, but being a world experienced, SKT veteran, Huni will always be bound to perform professionally.
100T may actually have to tunnel vision into botlane even more than usual. Altec and Adrian, after their complete thrashing a week ago, have not yet solidified themselves as an ironclad, completely immune botlane. Killing two birds with one stone is the motto here, as Ryu will undoubtedly struggle against Fenix and top lane success is small at best. Drafting for Cody Sun is also another priority on 100T’s list, but with so much attention directed at botlane, plays can definitely be made elsewhere on the map…
In my honest opinion, 100T’s synergy looks better than FOX’s, so they’ll be the favorites for this week’s matchups. The power between the two teams isn’t as large as one would expect, and with the momentum shifts of last week, FOX is looking dire.
Best bet: 100 Thieves to win $2.20 with GG Bet
Should Team Liquid lose this match, they would be one step closer to missing playoffs. Highly unlikely, but still a possibility, an Optic win would once again shake the foundation of the middle ground. Team Liquid have dropped multiple games and as such, have been inconsistent in the latter half of the split. With CLG at their heels, they cannot afford another fluke loss.
Team Liquid is no stranger to professional veterans. Although Doublelift hasn’t looked at the top of his game these past few weeks, he is still one of the best ADCs in NA. Xmithie has shown up in the past week, securing jungle pressure for the team quite handily. Drafting yet another tank for Impact is TL’s bread and butter, but if they can destroy OPT’s top laner even further, the term ‘nonfactor’ will be fulfilled in its entirety.
OPT’s win condition through Arrow becomes a lot more difficult against TL considering the caliber of the botlane. PowerOfEvil will also have his hands full against Pobelter, who has shown to be at minimum a midlaner who can mitigate losses but not necessarily exacerbate leads. Ultimately, jungle pressure from Akaadian is what OPT needs to win the game. Putting botlane and midlane behind creates a little breathing room in the bottom jungle while simultaneously smashing three of the five pillars TL can stand on. A clown fiesta of a game should be OPT’s goal to prolong the game, and it may all start with a 5 man gank botside.
TL are heavy favorites here. Their experience, veteran players, and general, if not shaky, power ranking should be enough to net them a win. It’s unfortunate for OPT to have a difficult schedule this late in the split.
Best bet: Team Liquid to win $1.36 with GG Bet
