G2 Esports vs Karmine Corp betting tips – LEC Winter Playoffs

G2 Esports and Karmine Corp will cross swords on Monday, February 24, in the fourth round of League of Legends EMEA Championship (LEC) 2025 Winter Playoffs. This will be a rematch of the first week of the split, when Karmine Corp won, but according to the top LoL betting sites, G2 Esports are expected to get their revenge.

G2 Esports enter this match off a 2-0 sweep against the surging Fnatic, which looks impressive on paper, but the final result mainly came down to a few too many misplays from Fnatic. It was a terrible display from the Black & Orange, which may trick some people into believing that G2 Esports played well.

Admittedly, G2 Esports have been improving following a rough start to the year, but they’ve not looked particularly good in their last two playoff fixtures.

Karmine Corp swept Movistar KOI in the second round of the playoffs, with a dominant win on map one and a close, but deserving victory on map two. The main takeaway from that series is that Movistar KOI targeted ADC Caliste “Caliste” Henry-Hennebert, which could be an indication that he is terrorising the scrims, and potentially that G2 Esports might do the same.

Both LoL esports teams are a bit of an enigma, as it is hard to say whether they are great or not, as both have had some close calls and were gifted a few wins on a silver platter. The latter applies more to G2 Esports.

Rasmus “Caps” Borregaard Winther and co. are billed as favourites, which seems to have to do with the brand value more than anything else. Their victories against Fnatic prove nothing, and they’ve hardly shown anything spectacular en route to the fourth round of the LEC 2025 Winter playoffs.

This looks like a 50/50 match at best, making Karmine Corp an appealing pick at outsider odds. The underdogs also have side choice, which bumps them up even more.
