Beginning on October 7 with the final day of the Fortnite esports event taking place on October 9, the 20 trios will battle it out over many Fortnite Battle Royales. The team with the most points at the end of the tournament will take home the Twitch Rivals title and the first-place prize.

The teams that will participate at the Twitch Rivals: Zero Build World Invitational will hail from Europe, North America, Latin America and the Middle East. The whole tournament will be played offline on LAN at the San Diego Convention Center, with all of the players being present at TwitchCon for the tournament.
