The Valorant Champions Tour Kickoff Tournament will be the first event for the 2023 season, where 30 of the best Valorant teams will participate in a three-week long tournament in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The VCT Kickoff Tournament will begin on February 14, 2022, with the grand final set to be played on March 5. With the changes to the VCT coming into effect in 2023, the Kickoff Tournament will replace the first split of competition with a bigger and better international tournament, with the winner giving their international league an extra slot for the Valorant Champions 2023.

VCT Kickoff Tournament
For the first time in the history of the Valorant Champions Tour, the season will begin with a massive international tournament, where the 30 partnered teams will be on display for the world to see before the new season gets underway.
From the 2023 event, the VCT will be split into three new regions: Americas, Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), and Pacific. This means, at the VCT Kickoff Tournament, 10 teams from each region will participate with the winner earning their region an extra slot for the VCT Champions 2023.
